Mihaya Shirata, a Japanese actress, born in Kanagawa prefecture and raised in Hawaii until 2018. She acted her first main role in Last Shadow at First Light (2023), directed by Nicole Midori Woodford. She was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Asian Film Awards and Best Performance at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards.
A Thousand Stitches will be her first stage play.
